About The Position

As an Airport Security Officer: Thursday/Friday Afternoons in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support travelers, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. You will use computer or tablet tools as needed and may assist with tasks requiring lifting over 20 pounds. Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
  • 18+ years of age
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
  • Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
  • Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and other stakeholders while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an airport location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, roadways, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate airport personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
  • Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when assigned, and report access-control concerns in accordance with site procedures.
  • Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
