As an unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic transportation location, you will conduct vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support travelers, staff, and visitors with exceptional service. Requirements

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 18+ years of age
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and/or tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an airport location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established airport and government-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, access points, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted or controlled areas, verify credentials as assigned, and report irregularities or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors and/or emergency responders.
