Requirements

Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
18+ years of age
Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, airport personnel, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of airport terminals, curbside areas, parking facilities, access points, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorized credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established airport and site procedures.
Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications for supervisors and relevant personnel.
