As an Airport Security Officer- P/T Thursday & Sunday in Kahului, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and respond to alarms as needed. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while using technology to document activities. Requirements

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 18+ years of age
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, and airport personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals, public areas, parking facilities, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized entry or suspicious behavior in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with airport operations and public agencies when directed.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, maintain required activity logs, and communicate observations and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.
