Requirements

Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
18+ years of age
Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, airport personnel, and/or other stakeholders while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, access points, perimeter areas, and other assigned airport locations to help identify unusual activity and potential hazards.
Monitor access to restricted or controlled areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with airport operations, law enforcement, emergency personnel, and/or supervisors as directed.
Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation, while maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter prohibited activity.
