As an Airport Security Officer: Full Time in Lihue, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a government airport location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for travelers, employees, and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 18+ years of age
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Able to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, airport personnel, and other stakeholders while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of airport terminals, public areas, access points, parking facilities, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations.
• Monitor for and report unusual activity, unauthorized access, hazards, and policy violations; document observations and incidents according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with airport operations and public agencies as directed.
• Assist with access control, traffic and pedestrian flow, and the enforcement of airport rules and security-related procedures.
