Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
  • 18+ years of age
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
  • Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
  • Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, airport location policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout airport terminals, public areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
  • Monitor access points and observe pedestrian and vehicle activity, reporting unauthorized access attempts, suspicious behavior, and facility concerns according to site-specific procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with airport operations and public agencies as directed.
  • Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
