EWR - Airport Coordinator (Summer 2027)

Rustic Pathways•Newark, NJ
•$20 - $25•Onsite

About The Position

Rustic Pathways is hiring a seasonal, part-time Airport Coordinator to support student group flights at Newark International Airport in New Jersey during Summer 2027. The position begins at the beginning of June and ends in mid-August. Airport Coordinators work with another coordinator and Flight Leaders to guide students through departures and arrivals, account for students, monitor flight information, and help maintain safety and provide support to students and families. The role serves as an initial point of contact for families and requires flexibility in response to delays, cancellations, rerouting, and ticket changes. The position does not normally travel, though the coordinator may be asked to travel on short notice as a backup for an absent Flight Leader. This is a non-exempt position scheduled for two to three days per week, on student group flight departure and arrival days. Schedules vary. Coordinators must be prepared to work beyond their normal schedule when students are delayed; an emergency may require an overnight hotel stay. Compensation is $20 to $25 per hour.
