About The Position

Unifi is seeking an Airport Cabin Cleaner to clean aircraft interiors and lavatories, restock cabin supplies, and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies so aircraft can depart on time. No experience is required, and paid training is provided. The role is based at Newark Liberty International Airport in Newark, New Jersey. Work may be scheduled across morning, overnight, and evening shifts, any day of the week, and includes nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime. Employees must be able to work outdoors in potentially severe seasonal weather.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be able to obtain credentials required by airport, state, or customs authorities.
Able to constantly lift, move, push, and pull up to 70 pounds.
Able to constantly walk, stand, reach above shoulder level, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, and bend.
Able and willing to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
Able and willing to work outdoors in weather that may include severe seasonal conditions.

Responsibilities

Carry cleaning equipment and supplies to service aircraft.
Clean seats, floors, tray tables, and galleys, and dispose of trash in designated dumpsters.
Clean aircraft lavatories and empty waste receptacles.
Restock magazines, food, beverages, liquor, and other supplies aboard aircraft.
Perform aircraft security inspections.
Load supplies onto the cabin service truck and return it to the designated area.
Keep the cabin-services supply room organized and ensure sufficient supplies are available.
Follow safety procedures, policies, and company safety and operational standards.
Promptly report safety and security incidents and potential hazards in accordance with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
Perform other related duties as assigned within the skill and experience capabilities expected for the position.
