MIA - Airport Coordinator (Summer 2027)

Rustic Pathways•Miami, FL

About The Position

Rustic Pathways is hiring a seasonal, part-time Airport Coordinator to support student group travel at MIA International Airport in Miami during Summer 2027. The position begins at the start of June and ends in mid-August. Airport Coordinators work alongside another coordinator and Flight Leaders, helping students navigate departure and arrival days and supporting safe, organized travel. On busy days, they may need to coordinate and account for 40 to 200 students and keep track of domestic and international flight information. Airport Coordinators are often the first Rustic Pathways representatives students and families meet at the airport. They provide directions, help ease family concerns, build students’ excitement about their programs, and respond calmly to changing travel circumstances such as delays, cancellations, rerouting, and ticket changes. The position is non-exempt, does not normally travel, and involves working two to three days per week. Coordinators may be asked to work beyond their scheduled hours when students are delayed, stay overnight at a hotel in an emergency, or travel on short notice as a backup for an absent or sick Flight Leader.
