Airline Passenger Assist
About The Position
ABM is seeking a reliable and experienced Airline Passenger Assistant, also known as a Wheelchair Agent, to provide wheelchair assistance to airline passengers who require or request it. This customer-service-oriented role involves safely transporting passengers around the client site and grounds and assisting with baggage when necessary. Tipping is allowed and customary; Wheelchair Agents who provide extraordinary customer service are reported to increase their earning potential by $25–$100 per week. The position pays $15.15 per hour plus tips and is full-time, with various shifts including weekends. The work location is 3400 E Sky Harbor Blvd, Phoenix, AZ 85034. Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- No high school diploma, GED, or college degree is required.
- No experience is required; on-the-job training is provided.
Nice To Haves
- One year of customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Follow safety precautions while transporting passengers.
- Interact positively with passengers.
- Comply with all client and site security requirements and processes.
- Safely transport passengers in wheelchairs from their retrieval point to their desired destination within the client site or grounds.
- Assist passengers with baggage retrieval and transport, if necessary.
- Coordinate assignments with dispatchers and gate agents, if necessary.
- Complete thorough incident reports.
