About The Position

The Kelcie Wilson-Yeider Farmers Insurance Agency is looking for an Agent in Training to join their team. This role is suitable for individuals with strong people skills, goal motivation, and a desire for a career with increasing income and opportunities. Prior insurance industry experience is not required; backgrounds in sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, banking, healthcare, or other people-focused roles are considered valuable. The agency provides comprehensive training, coaching, and hands-on experience to help trainees develop insurance knowledge and sales skills, fostering long-term career growth.

Requirements

  • Experience in sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, banking, healthcare, or another customer-facing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Connect with prospective clients through leads, referrals, phone calls, and follow-up.
  • Understand client needs and current coverage by asking relevant questions.
  • Prepare quotes and explain insurance options clearly.
  • Sell Auto, Home, Life, Business, and other insurance products.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, providing ongoing support.
  • Identify opportunities to offer additional coverage to existing customers.
  • Work towards achieving individual sales and production goals.
  • Maintain organized records of leads, follow-ups, and client information using agency systems.
  • Participate in continuous training for sales, product knowledge, and professional development.
