About The Position

Preferred Professional Services (PPS), an affiliate of National Health Care Associates, is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants to work in its long-term care and rehabilitation facilities. The role involves delivering compassionate, personalized care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring health, providing emotional support, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to support high-quality care. All shifts are needed. Per diem shifts are available, as are per diem and temp-to-hire opportunities.

Requirements

• Valid state certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Compassionate and empathetic nature.
• Interest in the nursing needs of aged and chronically ill people, with the ability to work with both.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Monitor and record vital signs.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Assist residents with mobility and transfers.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to develop care plans.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
