About The Position
Preferred Professional Services (PPS), an affiliate of National Health Care Associates, has per diem shifts available at its long-term care and rehabilitation facilities. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides compassionate, personalized care to residents by assisting with daily living needs, monitoring health, offering emotional support, and collaborating with healthcare professionals. All shifts are needed, and weekly pay is offered. The role is in a supportive, collaborative, Great Place to Work Certified environment.
Requirements
- Valid state certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- Compassionate and empathetic nature.
- Interest in the nursing needs of aged and chronically ill people, with the ability to work with both.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Dedication to upholding high standards of care.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record residents’ vital signs.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
- Assist residents with mobility and transfers.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to develop care plans.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
