About The Position
Otterbein Staffing Agency is seeking caring and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants to provide person-centered care to residents across Otterbein’s care settings. Staffing opportunities are available at independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, memory support, respite care, in-home care, and hospice services. Staff choose when and where they work and how frequently they accept shifts, with options across Otterbein locations in Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana. The position is PRN, with 8-hour and 12-hour shifts available on all shifts. Pay is $21 per hour on weekdays and $23 per hour on weekends. DailyPay is offered. The CNA provides hands-on assistance with residents’ daily activities, supports their comfort and independence, and performs duties under a nurse’s supervision. Requirements
- Graduate of an approved certified nursing assistant program.
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required in the State of Indiana.
- Pass the state test and be listed on the Nurse Aide Registry.
- At least 6 months of direct-care CNA experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with day-to-day tasks such as bathing, eating, ambulating, and hair care.
- Provide a wide range of support services under the supervision of a nurse.
- Help residents feel comfortable and as independent as possible in their daily lives.
- Provide accurate, efficient, and timely care documentation.
- Perform other duties as needs arise or as assigned.
