About The Position

This part-time substitute position is part of a pathway in partnership with a school district. The Instructional Provider Substitute may be assigned to different sites across the district based on daily staffing needs. Shifts and locations are not guaranteed, and the employee must be prepared to travel between sites and respond promptly to available shifts. As a California Schools Talent Collaborative (CSTC) employee, the employee will be placed at a school site as an Instructional Provider for an initial three-month period. During that time, the employee is expected to apply for an equivalent district position and complete the district’s formal hiring process. After successfully completing that process and serving at least three months with CSTC, the employee may transition to direct district employment. Under the direction of the Expanded Learning Site Supervisor, the Instructional Provider facilitates and implements program activities, provides assigned instruction to TK–12 students, and supervises students. The position offers hands-on experience in a school environment as a potential pathway to a career in public education. The role requires availability Monday through Friday for the entire shift schedule, willingness to cover sites as needed, and commitment to accepting open shifts as they become available. The posting states a pay rate of $20.00 per hour and says hiring is for November and December.
