About The Position

This part-time substitute position is part of a partnership with a school district. The Instructional Provider Sub may be assigned to different school sites across the district to cover daily staffing needs, and must be ready to travel, respond promptly to available shifts, and commit to covering them. Daily shifts and locations are not guaranteed. As a California Schools Talent Collaborative (CSTC) employee, the successful candidate will initially be placed at a school site for three months. During that period, they are expected to apply for an equivalent district position and complete the district’s formal hiring process. After successfully completing that process and serving at least three months with CSTC, the employee will be eligible to transition to direct employment with the district. Under the direction of the Expanded Learning Site Supervisor, the provider facilitates and implements program activities, delivers assigned instruction to TK–12 students, and supervises program students. The role is offered at $20.00 per hour, with hiring for November and December.
