About The Position

This part-time substitute position is part of a pathway in partnership with a school district. The substitute may be assigned to different sites across the district to cover staff callouts. Shifts and locations are not guaranteed, and the employee must be ready to travel between sites and respond promptly to available assignments. As a California Schools Talent Collaborative (CSTC) employee, the successful candidate will be placed at a school site as an Instructional Provider for an initial period of three months. During that period, the employee is expected to apply for an equivalent district position and complete the district's formal hiring process. After successfully completing that process and serving at least three months with CSTC, the employee will be eligible to transition to direct district employment. Under the direction of the Expanded Learning Site Supervisor, the employee facilitates and implements program activities, provides assigned instruction to TK-12 students, and supervises program students. The position offers hands-on experience in a supportive school environment and a potential career pathway in public education.
