About The Position

Facilitate a one-hour after-school science enrichment program using a pre-set curriculum. Each high-energy session combines entertainment and education through hands-on activities and meets once per week for 8–10 weeks. Classes follow the school calendar and are presented year-round. Occasional daytime programming may be available depending on your availability. Mad Science provides training in the curriculum and all class materials. This is part-time work, compensated at $50 per class conducted; the posting also describes compensation as $50 per hour.

Requirements

• Some college.
• Must be available at least two weekdays after 2 p.m.
• Must have reliable transportation that is not public transportation or a ride-share service.
• Must complete fingerprinting for a criminal background check.
• Have a fun and outgoing personality.

Nice To Haves

• Some experience working with groups of elementary-age children, ages 4–12.
