•$60,000 - $70,000•Remote

About The Position

829 Studios is seeking an AEO/GEO Specialist to own search strategy for high-profile and enterprise clients. The role covers visibility in Google's organic results as well as inclusion and citation across AI search experiences such as AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Copilot. The specialist manages client relationships, sets growth strategy, and leads technical, on-page, and off-page execution. The ideal candidate can create defensible approaches to measuring AI visibility, distinguish work that can affect AI answers quickly from changes that may take longer, and translate research into actionable client strategy. Research includes search and AI trends, competitor and citation analysis, and keyword and prompt audits. The position requires strong SEO knowledge, familiarity with integrated digital marketing, and the ability to recommend and explain priorities to stakeholders with different levels of search expertise. 829 Studios is a Boston-based integrated digital marketing agency serving organizations across multiple industries, including startups, public companies, and nonprofits. The role can be performed remotely from specified states or from the Boston office.

  • Implement technical and on-page initiatives directly in CMS backends.
  • Lead technical SEO for search and AI retrieval, including crawlability, rendering, site speed, structured data, AI crawler access, bot-management rules, and ensuring key answers are available in page HTML.

  • Use insights and KPI performance to adjust strategy.
  • Present to client teams, including executives, explaining AI search impacts and setting realistic expectations about what can be influenced and how quickly.
  • Partner with account managers on client communications and development and delivery of a clear strategic vision.
