About The Position

The role provides patient care in hospital and clinic settings under a physician’s direct supervision and responsibility. The position supports individualized, high-quality patient care in a private practice setting.

Requirements

• State-licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.

• Gastrointestinal experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide scheduled patient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician in hospital and clinic settings.
• Complete patient histories and physicals.
• Determine tentative diagnoses and order appropriate laboratory tests.
• Counsel patients and their families on health and disease.
• Participate in continuing education, training, and other requirements to remain in good standing for credentialing at assigned medical facilities.
• Work a flexible schedule as dictated by business needs and operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
