About The Position

Connecticut Gastroenterology (CTGI) in Manchester, powered by GI Alliance, is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant). The role provides scheduled patient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician in hospital and clinic settings. The position is part of a physician-owned and physician-led gastroenterology network that provides business and organizational support so clinicians can focus on patient care.

Requirements

• State-licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.

• Gastrointestinal experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide scheduled patient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician in hospital and clinic settings.
• Complete patient histories and physical examinations.
• Determine tentative diagnoses and order appropriate laboratory tests.
• Counsel patients and their families on health and disease.
• Participate in continuing education, training, and other requirements to remain in good standing for credentialing at assigned medical facilities.
• Work a flexible schedule as dictated by business needs and operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
