About The Position

CTGI - Putnam, part of GI Alliance, is a physician-owned and physician-led gastroenterology practice supported by GI Alliance’s organizational and business infrastructure. The Advanced Practice Provider works under a physician’s direct supervision and responsibility, providing scheduled patient services in hospital and clinic settings. The role supports individualized patient care and requires participation in continuing education, training, and credentialing requirements at assigned medical facilities. The position may require a flexible schedule based on business needs and operations.

Requirements

• State-licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.

Nice To Haves

• Gastrointestinal experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide scheduled patient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician in hospital and clinic settings.
• Complete patient histories and physical examinations.
• Determine tentative diagnoses and order appropriate laboratory tests.
• Counsel patients and their families on health and disease.
• Participate in continuing education, training, and other requirements to maintain good standing for credentialing at assigned medical facilities.
• Work a flexible schedule as dictated by business needs and operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
