About The Position

CTGI - South Windsor, part of GI Alliance, is a physician-owned and physician-led gastroenterology practice supported by the network’s business and organizational infrastructure. The Advanced Practice Provider delivers scheduled patient services in hospital and clinic settings under a physician’s direct supervision and responsibility. The role supports patient care through histories and physical examinations, tentative diagnoses, appropriate laboratory testing, and counseling patients and families on health and disease. The position also requires participation in continuing education, training, and other credentialing requirements, as well as a flexible schedule based on business needs.

Requirements

• State-licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.

Nice To Haves

• Gastrointestinal experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide scheduled patient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician in hospital and clinic settings.
• Complete patient histories and physical examinations.
• Determine tentative diagnoses and order appropriate laboratory tests.
• Counsel patients and families on health and disease.
• Participate in continuing education, training, and other requirements to remain in good standing for credentialing at assigned medical facilities.
• Work a flexible schedule as dictated by business needs and operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
