About The Position
This opportunity supports oil and gas operations in Carlsbad New Mexico, with a focus on automation, instrumentation, SCADA monitoring, and field-based maintenance activities. The role offers hands-on involvement with PLC components, communication systems, wired and wireless transmitters, and operational troubleshooting in a technically demanding environment. Requirements
- Proficiency in installing, troubleshooting, and repairing PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Fisher ROCs, Schneider Electric EcoStruxure Control Expert, IDEC PLC).
- Experience with Emerson Rosemount devices and related equipment.
- Ability to work outdoors.
- Commitment to safety.
- Motivation to contribute to reliable field operations.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair PLCs, Allen-Bradley, Fisher ROCs, Schneider Electric EcoStruxure Control Expert (formerly Unity Pro), IDEC PLC, Emerson Rosemount devices, and related equipment.
- Perform SCADA monitoring and field-based maintenance activities.
- Work with communication systems, and wired and wireless transmitters.
- Conduct operational troubleshooting in a technically demanding environment.
