About The Position

The Admissions Liaison coordinates an efficient, compassionate admission process for inpatient and outpatient patients. The role handles referrals, validates information, and facilitates scheduling and admissions. It also supports pre-certifications, assembles consent packets, maintains accurate hospital patient listings, and contributes to referral processes and statistical data entry.

Requirements

• Preferred: one or more years of experience in hospital admissions procedures.
• Preferred: licensure as a clinician.
• Preferred: current CPR certification.
• Preferred: CRRN certification.
• Advantageous: a strong understanding of multidisciplinary care levels and at least one year of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate an efficient admissions process for all patients.
• Perform pre-certifications.
• Assemble admission consent packets.
• Maintain an accurate listing of all patients in the hospital.
• Receive and verify referrals, gather essential information, and complete procedures needed for scheduling and admission.
• Contribute to the referral process and enter statistical data into hospital systems.
