About The Position

The Admissions Liaison coordinates an efficient and compassionate admissions process for inpatient and outpatient patients. The role handles referrals, validates information, and facilitates scheduling and admission. It also supports pre-certifications, prepares admission consent packets, maintains an accurate patient listing, and enters statistical data into hospital systems.

Requirements

• One or more years of experience in hospital admissions procedures is preferred.
• Licensure as a clinician is preferred.
• Current CPR certification is preferred.
• CRRN certification is preferred.
• A strong understanding of multidisciplinary care levels and at least one year of clinical experience are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate an efficient admissions process for all patients.
• Perform pre-certifications.
• Assemble admission consent packets.
• Maintain an accurate listing of all patients in the hospital.
• Receive and verify referrals, gather essential information, and complete necessary procedures for scheduling and admission.
• Contribute to the referral process and input statistical data into hospital systems.
