About The Position

The Admissions Liaison coordinates an efficient and compassionate admission process for inpatient and outpatient patients. The role oversees referrals, validates information, and facilitates scheduling and admission. It also supports the referral process and maintains accurate patient information in hospital systems.

Requirements

• One or more years of experience with hospital admissions procedures is preferred.
• Licensure as a clinician is preferred.
• Current CPR certification is preferred.
• CRRN certification is preferred.
• A strong understanding of multidisciplinary care levels and at least one year of clinical experience are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate an efficient admissions process for all patients.
• Perform pre-certifications.
• Assemble admissions consent packets.
• Maintain an accurate listing of all patients in the hospital.
• Receive and verify referrals, gather essential information, and complete procedures needed for scheduling and admission.
• Contribute to the referral process and enter statistical data into hospital systems.
