About The Position

The Admissions Liaison coordinates an efficient and compassionate admissions process for inpatient and outpatient patients. The role handles referrals, validates information, facilitates scheduling and admission, and supports the referral process by entering statistical data into hospital systems. The liaison also performs pre-certifications, assembles admissions consent packets, and maintains an accurate listing of patients in the hospital.

Requirements

• Licensure as a clinician is required.
• At least one year of clinical experience is advantageous.

Nice To Haves

• One or more years of experience in hospital admissions procedures.
• Current CPR certification.
• CRRN certification.
• A strong understanding of multidisciplinary care levels.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate an efficient admissions process for all patients.
• Perform pre-certifications.
• Assemble admissions consent packets.
• Maintain an accurate listing of all patients in the hospital.
• Receive and verify referrals, gather essential information, and complete procedures needed for scheduling and admission.
