About The Position

The Administrative Supervisor serves as the operational leader for administrative support functions within Clinical Administrative Services, including credentialing, and administrative services for Therapeutic Programming admin leadership and the Chief Operating Officer. This position is responsible for the supervision of five administrative support staff members providing support for executive and middle-management administration of the hospital and two credentialing specialists responsible for the credentialing of professional clinical staff. This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and evaluating daily administrative operations to ensure efficient support of clinical leadership, medical staff services, credentialing processes, and departmental business functions. The Administrative Supervisor provides direct oversight of administrative personnel, promotes high service standards, ensures regulatory and organizational compliance, and supports strategic initiatives that enhance workflow efficiency, communication, and customer service across the clinical administrative division.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma.
  • Four years of progressively responsible administrative/office management experience.
  • One year of experience as a lead worker.
  • Ability to complete tasks efficiently and promptly when utilizing various business functional areas such as administration, strategic planning, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in order to interact with the public.
  • Must report or stay over during adverse weather events.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a lead or supervisory role within a busy executive level administration area.
  • Experience working in a clinical setting subject to HIPPA regulations and regulatory surveys.
  • Knowledge of purchasing processes and the demonstrated ability to perform purchasing and reconciliation duties.
