About The Position

This position involves teaching ENGL 495: Literary Studies Senior Capstone for Independent Study-University. The role requires providing timely and constructive feedback on student work, grading assignments within 7 days, and fostering a positive and inclusive online learning environment that encourages student participation. The instructor must be organized, manage time effectively, and be proficient in using technology and learning management systems. There may be additional assignments or contracts for curriculum development for the same or similar courses. This position requires the successful candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.

Requirements

• PhD in Literature, American Studies, or related field. The required degree must be completed by the start date.
• College-level literature course instruction.
• Minimum two semesters of teaching experience.
• Organized and careful about time management.
• Proficiency in using technology and learning management systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of employment.
