About The Position
The Department of Art and Graphic Design, housed in the David R. Hayworth School of Arts and Design at High Point University, is expanding and requires the addition of a new adjunct instructor to help deliver foundation courses within its Studio Art and Graphic Design degrees. The department is seeking adjunct faculty to teach potential courses in Art Appreciation, Fundamentals of Design, Drawing, and Digital Design.
Requirements
- Terminal degree (MFA or equivalent) in Studio Art, Graphic Design or a closely related field.
- Some experience teaching at the college/university level.
- Be a good communicator, collaborator and team player who can thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, environment.
Responsibilities
- Potentially teach undergraduate courses in Art Appreciation, Fundamentals of Design, Drawing, and Digital Art and Design.
