About The Position
The College of Arts, Media and Design at Northeastern University seeks applicants to teach in-person undergraduate courses in Art + Design at its Oakland campus in Oakland, California, for the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Adjunct Faculty will hold office hours as appropriate.
Requirements
- At least two years of successful college teaching experience.
- Ability to effectively engage Northeastern students at course-relevant levels of study, whether beginning, intermediate, or advanced.
- Must be able to maintain valid work authorization in the United States throughout the entire appointment without Northeastern University visa sponsorship.
Nice To Haves
- MFA or equivalent terminal degree.
- For Art, media arts, and design candidates: an active career with current exhibition, publication, or creative practice, and course-related experience.
