About The Position

The Part-Time Art Instructor at Sylvania YMCA/JCC guides children and adults as they explore artistic talents and creativity. The instructor leads engaging art activities in a fun, educational environment, supporting participants’ personal growth, appreciation of diversity, leadership skills, and relationships with peers and families. Participants range from children as young as 2 years old to adults, and may have diverse skill levels and interests.

Requirements

• Strong background and understanding of various art techniques.
• Ability to provide engaging instruction in a fun and educational environment.
• Ability to guide groups with diverse skill levels and interests.
• Passion for art and a desire to foster individual growth.
• Enthusiasm and capability to lead dynamic art sessions.
