About The Position

The Part-Time Art Instructor at Wolf Creek YMCA guides children and adult artists as they explore creativity and develop their artistic abilities. The instructor leads engaging art activities in a fun, educational environment, supporting participants with varied ages, skill levels, and interests. The role helps participants build leadership skills, appreciate diversity, clarify personal values, and develop supportive relationships with peers and families.

Requirements

• Strong background and understanding of various art techniques.
• Ability to provide engaging instruction in a fun and educational environment.
• Ability to guide groups with diverse skill levels and interests, including participants ranging from 2-year-olds to adults.
• Passion for art and a desire to foster individual growth.
• Enthusiasm and capability to lead dynamic art sessions.

Responsibilities
