About The Position

Exos is seeking a Youth Programs Instructor to plan, prepare, and lead organized, engaging daily lessons, drills, and/or games for children. The instructor plans and conducts activities that promote self-esteem and encourage success, and provides opportunities for each child to meet the program’s established goals. The role includes planning for safe program operations and participant safety, working independently with support from the Youth Recreation Manager, and performing other duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience coaching or teaching children.
• Prior experience working with children.
• Strong motivation and communication skills.
• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification covering infants, children, and adults.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and execute organized, engaging daily lessons, drills, and/or games.
• Plan and conduct activities that promote self-esteem and encourage success.
• Provide opportunities for each child to meet the program’s established goals.
• Plan for safe program operations and the safety of all participants.
• Work independently, with support from the Youth Recreation Manager, to meet program goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Youth Recreation Manager.
