About The Position

EXOS is seeking a Youth Programs Instructor to plan and deliver engaging daily lessons, drills, and activities for children. The instructor works independently, with support from the Youth Recreation Manager, to help participants meet program goals and to ensure activities are conducted safely. Other duties may be assigned by the Youth Recreation Manager.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience coaching or teaching children.
• Prior experience working with children.
• Strong motivation and communication skills.
• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification for infants, children, and adults.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and execute organized, engaging daily lessons, drills, and/or games.
• Plan and conduct activities that promote self-esteem and encourage success.
• Provide opportunities for each child to meet the established program goals.
• Plan for safe program operation and the safety of all participants.
• Work independently, with support from the Youth Recreation Manager, to meet program goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Youth Recreation Manager.
