2027 Corebridge Financial Summer Internship Program - Actuary
About The Position
The 2027 Corebridge Financial Summer Internship Program offers a valuable opportunity for students to enhance their business acumen and gain insight into the finance and insurance industry. Interns are placed in meaningful roles that contribute to the business. The program lasts approximately 10 weeks and is designed for students entering their final year of undergraduate or graduate education. Following an initial orientation, interns join one of Corebridge's business lines, gaining core technical knowledge and professional skills in a diverse environment. In addition to on-the-job experience, interns will have opportunities to learn from senior management and participate in webinars, discussion forums, and networking events. Interns will establish goals with their managers in the first week, which will be measured at mid-point and end of the internship. Successful interns may be considered for full-time analyst positions in summer 2028.
Requirements
- Complete one or more Actuarial Exam(s) by December 2026
- Minimum grade point average of 3.2 (unofficial transcript required upon application)
- Bachelor's or master's degree, or candidate for bachelor’s or master’s degree to be received no later than August 2029.

Responsibilities
- Drive results at Corebridge Financial with expertise in quantitative analysis, insurance pricing, loss reserving, and risk quantification.
- Ensure the financial condition of Corebridge Financials major regulated and rated insurance operating companies.
- Responsible for reserving and valuation of liabilities.
- Assess the soundness of regulatory and rating agency capital.
- Assess insurance capital needs.
- Responsible for technical pricing, product development analytics, performance monitoring and measurement, and assessment of reinsurance needs.
- Work with marketing, operations, and financial management to achieve business objectives.
