About The Position

Marsh McLennan Agency is seeking motivated students for its 2027 Summer Internship Program. The internship is conducted in person Monday through Friday in McMinnville, Oregon; relocation expenses are not offered. Interns gain exposure to multiple functional teams and departments, including client service, risk management, operations, sales, and business analytics. They work on projects intended to provide hands-on experience developing solutions to real-world business problems. The program offers mentorship, training, resources, development, and national and regional learning classes to introduce interns to the organization and industry. Interns are paid $18.85 per hour.

Interns collaborate with colleagues across departments and support directors, sales executives, and client relations staff. The role also involves following organizational policies, procedures, sales and service standards, and established workflows; maintaining quality through appropriate file documentation; and protecting confidential information. Requirements

• Be a student applying to the 2027 Summer Internship Program.
• Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above at the time of application and start date.

Responsibilities

• Partner with teams on creative and diverse projects that further develop and fulfill Marsh Agency’s brand.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support the mission and vision of the Marsh Agency department where assigned.
• Provide meaningful, specific support to directors, sales executives, and client relations staff to enhance new business and retention opportunities.
• Maintain positive relationships with colleagues and work closely with a manager, mentor, and other interns.
• Participate in national and regional classes introducing the organization and industry.
• Cultivate industry relationships by meeting a variety of industry partners.
• Follow organizational policies and procedures, sales and service standards, and established workflows.
• Maintain quality control through proper file documentation and maintenance.
• Maintain confidentiality.
