About The Position

Marsh McLennan Agency is seeking an intellectually curious, motivated student for its 2027 Summer Internship Program. The intern will work in person Monday through Friday in McMinnville, Oregon; relocation expenses are not offered. Interns gain exposure to teams and functional departments including client service, risk management, operations, sales, and business analytics, and contribute to projects that address real-world business problems. The program provides mentorship, training, resources, and professional development.

The internship offers hands-on, resume-building experience and opportunities to learn about career options and the risk management industry. Interns partner with teams on diverse projects, support their department’s mission, and provide support to directors, sales executives, and client relations staff. They also participate in national and regional learning sessions and have opportunities to build relationships with industry partners. This is a paid internship at $18.85 per hour.

Interns are expected to follow organizational policies, procedures, sales and service standards, and workflows; maintain accurate files and documentation; protect confidentiality; and contribute positively to the team. Requirements

• Be a student with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above at the time of application and start date; all academic grades are considered.
• Have legal work authorization in the United States.
• Be thorough, detail-oriented, and organized.

Responsibilities

• Partner with teams on creative and diverse projects to further develop and fulfill Marsh Agency’s brand.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support the mission and vision of the department where assigned.
• Provide support to directors, sales executives, and client relations staff to enhance new business and retention opportunities.
• Maintain positive relationships with colleagues and contribute as an active team member.
