About The Position

The Activities Associate organizes and leads recreational activities that help resort guests enjoy their vacations and create lasting memories with family and friends. In coordination with the Activities Supervisor, the associate operates activity-related areas. The position is at Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek Resort and pays $16 per hour.

Requirements

• Creativity and a customer-focused approach.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good judgment when interacting with guests and team members.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Willingness to work an adjusted schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Depending on location, one or more of the following certifications, or the ability to become certified: Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, Alcohol Awareness Card, or Food Server Health Card.

Responsibilities

• Create, plan, and execute guest activity programs for the resort.
• Monitor, supervise, and assist guests in the activity center.
• Promote and register guests for resort activities.
• Conduct and record inspections of activity areas in compliance with company standards and requirements.
• Manage a cash bank using proper cashiering procedures when applicable.
• Attend and complete required resort and company training.
• Handle safety issues and incidents immediately.
