Activities - BCN PACE Activities Assistant
About The Position
The PACE Activities Assistant supports the planning, coordination, and implementation of therapeutic, social, and recreational activities for participants enrolled in the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). The role promotes participants’ physical, cognitive, emotional, and social well-being through engaging activities designed to enhance quality of life, encourage independence, and support individualized care goals. The Activities Assistant works closely with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to provide participant-centered programming in a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be a licensed driver with an automobile in good working order and insured in accordance with state minimum requirements.
- CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain it.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with older adults, individuals with dementia, or in a healthcare, adult day, recreational, or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Previous experience in a PACE program, adult day health center, or long-term care is strongly preferred.
