About The Position

Kendall Hunt Publishing is seeking a driven Acquisitions Sales Representative to join their team. This role focuses on building relationships and exceeding goals within the higher education sector. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and sales skills to develop lasting partnerships with college professors. This is a remote position requiring approximately 7 weeks of overnight travel per semester, alternating between working from home and being on a college campus. The position involves identifying business opportunities, interviewing professors, and persuading potential authors to partner with Kendall Hunt to develop interactive and engaging educational materials for high-enrollment courses.

Responsibilities

  • Interview professors to identify business potential.

  • Call on and travel to different colleges and universities in the assigned territory.
