About The Position

The Houston, Texas office of Lewis Brisbois is seeking a temporary Accounts Payable Specialist with legal experience. The role is expected to last three months, based on a 37.5-hour work week, with potential for permanent placement. The specialist supports the department’s full-cycle accounts payable process and handles accounts payable-related reconciliations in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Daily work includes processing invoices, expense reports, and other accounts payable items, as well as reconciling AP accounts. Requirements

At least three years of experience working as an Accounts Payable Specialist.
Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and comfort using a variety of accounting software programs.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience.
At least one year of experience working in a law firm.

Responsibilities
