About The Position

Camping World is seeking an Accounting Clerk to support dealership accounting operations. The role reviews deal paperwork and invoices for accuracy before submission to the Accounting hub, verifies information in the dealership system, and works with dealership personnel to resolve discrepancies. It also supports accurate payroll and timekeeping information, payment recording, daily mail sorting, and check deposits.

Requirements

Be diligent, organized, and extremely detail oriented.
Have strong communication skills and be able to work as part of a team.
Have intermediate computer knowledge, including MS Office and Excel, plus accuracy with a 10-key pad and typing skills.
Be self-motivated and able to prioritize tasks and organize a schedule effectively.
Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks and demands.
Be able to hold up to 25 lbs. and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of auto dealership accounting systems such as IDS, ADP, or Reynolds & Reynolds.

Responsibilities

Review deal paperwork for thoroughness and accuracy before sending it to the Accounting hub for processing.
Verify key data between deal paperwork and the system.
Communicate with dealership personnel to resolve discrepancies.
Sort daily mail.
Obtain General Manager approval on invoices before sending them to the Accounting hub for processing.
Act as a liaison between the dealership and Accounting hub to ensure payroll and timekeeping information is accurate and current before payroll processing.
Scan daily check deposits and occasionally travel to the bank with cash deposits.
Ensure payment information is accurately recorded by department personnel.
