About The Position

Sterling BMW, powered by Lithia & Driveway, is hiring a Dealership Accounting Coordinator I to support dealership accounting operations. The role works with other accountants in an on-site office environment and reports to the Business Manager. Responsibilities include processing contracts, vehicle transactions, receipts, invoices, reconciliations, manufacturer payments, and intercompany accounts. The target hiring range is $20.00–$22.00 per hour. The full compensation range is $16.85–$26.45, with final compensation determined by experience, skills, job-related knowledge, geographic location, and the interview process. Applicants must be high school graduates or equivalent and at least 18 years old. Requirements

At least 1 year of accounting experience and familiarity with charts of accounts, debits, and credits.
Entry- to mid-level Microsoft Excel skills.
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of auto industry experience.
Retail sales or customer service experience.
At least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

Submit service contracts.
Submit warranty contracts.
Process new car purchases and dealer trades.
Record used car purchases.
Request and process lien payoffs.
Process cash receipts.
Conduct regional check runs.
Process vendor invoices and payments.
Perform FTC reconciliation.
Account for manufacturer monies, including parts, warranty, incentives, and miscellaneous payments.
Post to intercompany accounts.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
