About The Position

Lithia & Driveway is a Fortune 500 company and one of North America’s largest automotive retailers, with nearly 450 dealerships across the U.S., Canada, and the U.K. The Dealership Accounting teams support the company’s financial operations by promoting accuracy, consistency, and compliance. This role is based at Sterling BMW in an on-site office environment and reports to the Business Manager. The target hiring range is $20.00–$22.00 per hour; the full compensation range is $16.85–$26.45, with final compensation based on factors including experience, skills, job-related knowledge, and geographic location. The position handles dealership accounting processes including service and warranty contract submissions, vehicle purchase records, lien payoffs, cash receipts, vendor invoices, reconciliations, manufacturer monies, and intercompany account postings. The role also includes other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

At least 1 year of accounting experience, with familiarity with chart of accounts (COA), debits, and credits.
Entry- to mid-level Microsoft Excel skills.
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of auto industry experience.
Retail sales or customer service experience.
Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

Submit service contracts.
Submit warranty contracts.
Process new car purchases and dealer trades.
Record used car purchases.
Request and process lien payoffs.
Process cash receipts.
Handle regional check runs.
Process and pay vendor invoices.
Perform FTC reconciliation.
Account for manufacturer monies, including parts, warranty, incentives, and miscellaneous items.
Post to intercompany accounts.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
