About The Position

Austin Bridge & Road has an outstanding opportunity for an Accountant II at our corporate headquarters in Coppell, Texas. The role will be responsible for job cost accounting, general ledger, and reporting.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
3+ years of accounting experience
Proficient with Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

General ledger accounting including reconciliations
Monthly accounting close process, contract profit review and analyses
Various reports and analyses (including KPIs and various business metrics)
Periodic forecast and budgeting processes
Job cost responsibilities including project setup, budget upload, maintains on-going contract budget adjustment, change orders etc. Monthly job billing, cost review etc.
Support field operations including field office managers, project managers and regional managers
Assist in external and internal audits
Completes ad hoc requests
Perform other duties as assigned
