About The Position
Austin Bridge & Road is seeking a Form Builder / Setter to build and set forms for construction projects in Greenville, Texas. The role includes setting forms to line and grade, assisting with concrete placement and finishing, traffic control, erosion control installation, and general site cleanup. Work hours may be adjusted to meet project needs, including days, nights, and weekends. The position requires working in adverse weather conditions, including hot or cold temperatures, and following safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of construction experience.
- Strong commitment to jobsite safety.
- Diligently demonstrate safe work practices.
- Be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is not available.
Responsibilities
- Build forms according to plan specifications.
- Set forms on line and grade.
- Use power tools safely.
- Use concrete finishing tools such as bull floats, straight edges, screeds, and hand floats.
- Place and finish concrete according to plan specifications.
- Follow instructions.
- Assist with concrete placement.
- Assist with concrete finishing.
- Perform traffic control.
- Install erosion control devices.
- Perform general site cleanup.
- Follow safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
