About The Position

Austin Bridge & Road is seeking a Form Builder/Setter to build and set forms for construction projects. The role includes setting forms to line and grade, assisting with concrete placement and finishing to plan specifications, and supporting general jobsite activities such as traffic control, erosion control installation, and cleanup. Work hours may be adjusted to meet project needs, including days, nights, and weekends. The work may take place in adverse weather and hot or cold temperatures.

Requirements

At least 1 year of construction experience.
Strong commitment to jobsite safety.
Diligence in demonstrating safe work practices.
Legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States; the employer cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position.

Responsibilities

Build forms according to plan specifications.
Set forms on line and grade.
Use power tools safely.
Use concrete finishing tools, including a bull float (mop), straight edge, screed, and hand floats.
Place and finish concrete within plan specifications.
Follow instructions.
Assist with concrete placement.
Assist with concrete finishing.
Perform traffic control.
Install erosion control devices.
Perform general site cleanup.
Follow safety policies and procedures.
Work hours adjusted to meet project needs, including days, nights, and weekends.
Work in adverse weather conditions and hot or cold temperatures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
